Top gig - all the band on top form with Will playing as well as I have seen him and Mac continuing the great form and good humour he showed at last year's O2 and through the Summer Festivals.

Get this - I think he was drinking MILK. there were three glasses of milk in front of the drums he was drinking!!!!! Mac!!!!! Mrs Chunkyhair reckons he is looking, quote, "really fit - reckon he has lost 3 stone since I last saw him"!

Set List, as retrieved from the stage for those interested:
Lovers on the Run
Do It Clean
Never Stop
Crocodiles
Silver
Seven Seas
My Kingdom
Thorn Of Crowns (on set list but they didn't play it - shame, a personal fave of mine)
Bedbugs and Ballyhoo
Rust
Zimbo
Holy Moses
Rescue
Dancing Horses
The Killing Moon
The Cutter
Encore 1
Nothing Lasts Forever
Lips Like Sugars
Encore 2
The Back Of Love/Ocean Rain (as on set list but Back of Love not played)

The two newies were good and great to see them open with a new one. Looking forward to the new album should it see the light of day and hopefully a tour to support it.

See you this time next year!

Bit jammy that one (disallowed goal and iffy sending off?)

Hardly inspiring snippets for the new output....... like it or not at least Will is doing something different with Poltergoost and Gliiiiiide. Mac/Bunnymen offerings are just the same old shit again and again.

The new song sounds like a continuation of the last solo album and The Fountain, not surprising. I'm guessing the same for the other new song. On the plus side Ian's voice sounds pretty good.

My opinion on Lovers on the Run, as I've told it to a friend: 'I think it's a Suede song. That never hurt In the Margins, though.'

Holy Moses.

Lovely t-shirt by the way. Anyone else buy one? I mean, if the one I got is actually a Large I won't be eating much turkey this year.

I got one of those black echo and the bunnymen Liverpool t -shirts. I got x-large and it is barely long enough (it must be my broad shoulders). If it shrinks in the wash I'll have to give it to Mrs 5times

That's the one I bought, looks like a bloody 'boob-tube' on me, wish I hadn't taken the rowing machine to the dump now.

i bought the xxl thinking the worse case scenario would be a baggy t shirt, but it fits about right.
