Well, I'll be leaving at six to get on that car park opposite.

A few years ago I'd have been in the pub now.

Building on the car park shortly to turn the space into student flats. NCP open plus the Liner car park on top of Lord Nelson Street.

Well we are all waiting with bated breath for the "surprises"

Here's a few options.

1. Les turned up
2. Mac got out a guitar
3. They played a new song
4. An old song got played again
5. Mac threw a wobbly

Any takers?

The surprises were two new songs. Sounded great. Other then that it was pretty much greatest hits, all delivered perfectly.

It was as good, if not better than last year. Great night.

Sorry to disappoint most of you.

Top, top form. And a cracking Ocean Rain at the end.

They were fantastic in Manchester last night, very rowdy crowd, brilliant atmosphere too you'll have a blast if you're still going. Make sure you catch the support band - Man Man, they're absolutely mental!

Good to hear the Bunnymen were on form, sounds like I'll have to go see them next time out.

Wish I was going although not sure I could stand the pace, I was knackered after the first few songs and I'm covered in bruises. Fabulous night out!

Had to park round the corner in the station car park. Pity they've closed Hotham st car park- it was good for the Empire as well.

Bunnymen on top form. I like the way they bravely opened with a brand new song, which seemed pretty good on the first listen. I'm undecided on the other new one, I'd have to hear it again.

Loads of young ones down at the front really enjoying it which was good to see.

Anyway, top set as usual from the bunnymen and long may it continue.

Great day for you VB- another good result for the blues and a boss bunnymen gig.

Just got back to Brizzle, had a great weekend with Mrs Cookie in Liverpool, stayed in the Liner hotel, could not have been much closer to the O2.
The Bunnymen were on top form, of course they played all the usual 'hits' but that is all we can really expect nowadays, and at least they did chuck in a couple of new ones.
Non of Macs crappy banter, crowd were great (at least where we were stood)
Top gig. Didn't catch the name of the support band but they sounded pretty decent too.
