I forgot the empire- judging from the simple minds concert there a few months ago, then that would be better than the phil. I like to have a seat these days- can't be arsed with dancing, jumping, pushing, getting cig burns on my clothes (although that's stopped now, thank god) people spilling ale on me, etc.

Concerts abroad are miles better. I've been to a few in Mexico and you just sit down and they bring the beer, pizza, hot dogs, etc., right to your seat. The only time you have to get up is to go the toilet, which is quite often as you always end up drinking loads (well..it's hot...).

Maybe I am being too harsh, there was that period of time around Siberia in 2005 where Mac wasn't sounding too good. I don't think they've done a proper US tour since then and the last time I saw them was the 2008 Radio City Ocean Rain show which was very good.

Sounds ideal, and a catheter hooked to the side of your seat. Is Dragon's Den still going? There may be a business opportunity here catering for the over 50's concert goer.

Six years away from the BIG 50 myself but there's nothing wrong with a bit of forward planning.

You're the same age as me, VB. We are youngsters compared to some of the people you see at a bunnymen concert.

I was referring to your 'welcome aboard', thought you might be arranging a refugee lifeboat from the Good Ship Bunnymen.

something to cheer smiffy up....

on the pledge website William says:

So here you go a sneaky preview. I love this corrosion theme for the covers. I think it will go well with the next record Assemblage three & four. I am already working on the next album in the series every spare moment I get.

Downloaded a few days ago, sounds great, can't wait to hear the vinyl. Been listening to the Poltergeist Remix CD quite a lot as well, the Lost Tapes Record Club's version of Lune Deeps is a cracker.
