I guess really can't blame anyone for going through the motions and doing greatest hits sets as long as people are willing to pay for it. I kinda doubt Poltergeist or Glide pays the mortgage.

i can think of at least two people. will doesn't seem embarrassed, why would you be? theres worse things to worry about, or is that better things. who gives a toss really. You'll live smiff, its not as if you haven't known they're not bezzies fro a long time.

FC, I didn't shell out any cash for these shows or recent pledge but it's kind of sad for fans who have paid their money for shows when you know the band members aren't even interested. Maybe some don't care because this is their only livelihood. Also couldn't give a toss

Whether Will Sergeant embarrasses himself or goes broke is not on my list of interests or priorities. My life in paradise still stays the same.

well how could anyone tell they're going through the motions - for the last 30 o so years they've stood in a line across the stage, backlit and with loads of smoke. As for embarrassment I dont going out and having a go is embarrassing even if its ultimately unsuccessful - whether thats art or being in a band. Crying on stage, throwing a wobbly and walking off mid-set and kicking down toilet doors, is fairly embarrassing I'd say. Most people at the christmas gig will go, get pissed and have a good time, a few will try and wind mac up all in the cause of having a good time and be happy to part with their cash. Most of what you say you dont actually know do you.
