moz autobiography

anyone got it yet? Apparently anything thats bad is someone elses fault, nothing was quite as good as it should have been but very well written all the same.

Well, they did get the literary editor, and not someone from the music section, to review it.

Sure but certainly they don't live in a vacuum. Even the most casual Smiths fan knows this is Morrissey's shtick.

I wonder what he's thinking about in that photo on the cover.

I'd read this. It would help me understand Black Francis better:

My childhood is wave upon wave upon wave of misery. For those around me. Manchester unpleasing wheezing incomplete concrete. Naturally, my birth almost kills my mother, for my head is too big, full of words words words birds turds. My lineage stretches back to Ovid who grew up being diffy near the Liffey, before moving near to the Wirral to save the squirrel. From being eaten.

hey hipster, a couple of journos have done the 'lets write the review in the styole of the book' thing and i'd say yours is the best of them!! well done!!

Just got to the end of the trial, which is the section it deviates from the meandering but nevertheless interesting and occasionally v funny, its mainly a 50 page rant. not sure he understands anything really, or maybe i'm meant to think that or maybe its he stream of conscious thing going on, in the moment or whatever. the madeleine McCann dig is probably the nearest the knuckle he gets in terms of 'why would he say that'.
