xmas gig?

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Me and Mrs Cookie have been sucked in again. Tickets and hotel booked.
Might even ferry across the Mersey while I'm there.

I bought a ticket to see the show, just in case I decide to go. But going is a big ticket item for me and I'm wavering on the fence, choking on the expense. But we only live once. Any of you have a compelling reason that would cause me to drop what I'm doing and buy a seat on British Airways tonight?

The Beat, with Ranking Roger, are playing in London near Paddington Station where I stay the night before the Bunnymen. Seen them here in the states many times with Dave Wakling leading the band. Plus two for going to the UK. A rare oppotrunity to see the other half of the band.

Don't make me dig up last years thread Cheesy where, after a stunning show, you said you'd come this year AND buy me a beer!

Slick, me and my mate say every year that this may be the last ever show, I think this year could well be. As mentioned above, they were awesome last Christmas and have been on top form for quite some time.

Believe it or not but I was actually going to break my self-imposed live Bunny exile and go to this years gig but Gogol Bordello are on the same night in Manchester and I'd already got tickets. Not that I'd choose the Bunnymen over GB anyway, their live shows are fantastic!

And I would have gladly bought you that pint!

Yes that Liz, or Ebeth as we used to call her... She's actually from my home town East Kilbride just outside Glasgow.... Also the home of Jesus & The Mary Chain and Aztec Camera lol

I just attempted to buy 10 tickets with no problems so I'd say not.
