Well I saw Poltergeist were playing on the Friday and thought ahh maybe EATB will
play on the Sat then and then Poltergeist can get more ticket sales from people
travelling to see EATB who will maybe stay two nights not one... maybe...

I like your thinking though having seen this earlier I reckon a Bunnymen show is less likely. Fingers crossed though.

The miracle will then happen! EATB take the stage on Sat the 14th and out comes Les to play the whole evening, becoming a legendary performance never to be forgotten. Then on Sunday the 15th the band announces that they are permanently disbanding, ending on a high note!

Just bought tickets for Poltergeist, hopefully there will be a Bunnymen show at another venue on the 14th so I can stay over, though I doubt it somehow.

It would be nice if they could put a little message on their website or something. A lot of 'fans' look forward to this show every year and at the moment they don't know what is what. People want to make plans at Christmas and at the moment they are being kept hanging on. If the bunnymen management coud just say "look, there won't be a xmas gig this year because we can't be bothered", that would be better than nothing.

Then again you could argue that with 3 months to go there is still plenty of time to announce a gig. Who knows.

Just flicking through last years thread. The Xmas gig was announced on September 22nd, so there's still half a chance.

I meant about Les appearing not that I would be glad they broke up.....but I think you
all knew that anyway.. ha ha

and no disrespect to Ste either who threw in a very nice bass part at Weyfest .....sadly
I can't remember which song but I remember thinking that I had not heard him do
it before......

They were really good at Weyfest btw..... although I thought Will's guitar should have been a bit louder sometimes....

Les aint coming back folks!Him and Mac hate each other.Cant be arsed travelling for rentaghost but will comeover if Bunns play .As for Ste snd his basslines if i had played the same songs as many times as he has been forced to I'd be playing freeform fucking jazz onstage to relieve the monotony !
