Anyone heard of these rarities?

Ask and the Van Halen guy provides, if available. Sammy Hagar’s coming to town in a week, playing 40 years of rock n roll, including VH era songs!

Sorry, but all I have is the mp3 version, so I can comply with only half of the tapers request. I believe this has been posted sometime ago, somewhere.

Don't think I've got that one. If the sound is half decent that might be a boot on heavy rotation!

Is that setlist from 1984, 1994, 2004 or 2014?

Just curious.

I would describe it as a very good audience recording. They all come through loud and clear with little audience interference. It is suprisingly good considering where they were perfoming.

With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

My recollection of this setlist

Echo And The Bunnymen – Live at the S.S. President Riverboat, New Orleans, LA, 8-28-84 (2 CD) (CDR from FLAC source)
Disk 1: Intro (Gregorian Chants), Going Up, With A Hip, Rescue, My Kingdom, Angels & Devils, Heads Will Roll, Crocodiles, Ocean Rain, Nocturnal Me
Disk 2: The Killing Moon, All That Jazz, Never Stop, Villiers Terrace, The Cutter, Thorn Of Crowns, Over The Wall, Do It Clean

Comments: Very good/excellent audience recording. Notes from the seeder: Taped By: RH (using Sony WM-D3/mics unknown). Lineage (M/0): aud master -> CD-R (3) -> FLAC

Notes: The source I received this from states that the S.S. President would float up and down the Mississippi whilst the band booked to play performed their set. Not sure if you can tell that by listening, though Over The Wall has a couple of intriguing hints. Anyway, this recording is as clear as a bell. Quite an intriguing version of Never Stop, with it's distinctive synth-driven intro and spot-on vocals. Mac also throws in a bit of Bowie's "Let's Dance"(!) into the midst of Crocodiles, and "I'm A Believer" by the Monkees as well as The Stones' "Satisfaction" and James Brown's "Sex Machine" during Do It Clean, as well as something in French that somebody can hopefully ID for me.
