Very rare live french stuff (1981) on YT

Postby lazarus » Tue May 14, 2013 4:54 am

Found this today, the guy posted it last week.
Amazing archives ! The version of Do it Clean is huge, with the midway break (when i fall love, Mac drinking beer, then Sex machine, the torn tshirt...) !!
I searched more info and this was broadcasted on first french national tv on a programme called Megahertz and this gig was located in Brittany, for a festival called Elixir.

Thanks for posting that.

Love Ian's outfit during No Dark Things -- looks like a cross between Yasser Arafat and a member of Bananarama.

Great footage. Did some quick research and the Bunnymen were actually on in the 1982 edition, 18th July.

Why don't they do the long version of do it clean anymore? I'd much rather have that closing a set than lips like sugar.

Totally awesome...it was great when Mac was more engaged, played guitar and sang like he meant it....and actually remembered words.

Glad to share it. I was super excited to find this one, but a million thanks to the uploader, the guy took the time to convert his old tapes after so many years.
