So do you think she ever gave Ronald Reagan a hand job? Discuss.

Le Monde has done a video compilation of musicians inspired by her.

"Durant ses années au pouvoir, Margaret Thatcher a suscité la colère de nombreux artistes. Du rock au punk, de la chanson à texte au ska, groupes et chanteurs ont croqué la "Dame de fer" à toutes les sauces. Florilège."

All I know is it seemed like my favorite UK bands hated her. Here's what my friend had to say:

"I just remember Thatcher, causing the miners strikes, the poll tax riots, the power cuts, taking my milk, and fu*king over my Dads business resulting in his bankruptcy.. I was more interested in Michael Jackson's death... in fact probably more interested in his life too."
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

ably demonstrating why costello's still got a career and wiley's a sad old nob who has to advertise himself as 'the proud father of mersey wiley'. Good riff though - mind you it was good when the troggs used it. So what was wiley doing in the 80s apart from scratchign hais arse.

Party - that's what it is isn't it? A great big knees up mother brown for the Essex mockney barra boys that were able to buy their two up two down council houses in Basildon, Del Boy, former Motorola DynaTec loving Yuppies, and Tories who'd build a 2,000 ft golden statue of Maggie in Trafalgar Sq if they had their way. Surprised we haven't been ordered to have street parties. What a pathetic little country we live in.
