What would the Bunnymen sound like without Sgt Fuzz?

If you ever needed proof of such a day, when it's just Ian McCulloch and his Bunnymen here it is:

The crowd seem to love it, but you can (un)hear the missing link.

Always used to get a bit mosh pit like when Rescue, and especially Villiers start.
More pointing and singing along with Mac during Cutter.

Will is now in the same category as Gordy, Steveo and Nick, nothing more than a contract musician. He'll either decide one day that it's no longer worth gigging with Ian and the Bunnymen or resign himself to the fact that he's stuck for all of eternity by Ian's side, enduring a hell of mediocrity.

Slick, as much as Mac would love that to be true it's not. Will is still 50% of the Bunnymen. If he is wasn't Mac would have ditched him years ago.

last time i saw mac solo (bloomsbury theatre?) and he had the 'buns without sarge' backing band, and he stopped faffing around wuith acoustic versions of half songs and being rude to the lighting bloke, it sounded quite good -not a million miles away from the radio karen bunnymen. When poltergeist goes gold perhaps he'll eff off anyway and there'll be a new album - poltergeist play 'head' versions of bunnymen songs (without a singer, natch)

What the bloody nora are 'head' versions of songs?
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'
