I'd take Electrafixion over present day Bunnymen every time.

I'd take Poltergeist over Electrafixion.

as it happens the mighty quo, classic lineup are touring their late 70s setlist. I'd probably go to that if I could get a ticket. Funny interview with them in Mojo. Aparently Lancaster fell out because he thought the songs rossi was writing weren't 'manly', amongst the usual coke / beer not to mention legal divisions, as often creep into a band.

I was always quite fond of the Quo until they turned into a shit pop band, I was contemplating going to see the classic line-up (last saw them in 1981) but then I realised they're all about 90 these days so I thought I'd give it a miss.

the photo in mojo is quite shocking/amusing depending on your point of view. Rossi has worn quite well but parfit looks rough - he's very miffed about cutting his hair, but he said it was starting to fall out. Rossi apparently gave his ponytail as the prize ina competition in The Sun - and claims that a woman has it sewn into the hair on her nether regions - but she'd be tripping over it all the time wouldn't she?. Lancaster looks bad - due to the disease he has - here it says its a nervous system reaction to some hair dye he used, somewhere else i read he has MS, but one assumes he's telling the truth. About 81 was the only time I saw em. 2 and a half hours and I was all quo'd out. Been listening to Hello a bit recently, and piledriver, big fat mamma, - classic. Bunnies ought to tour a few old classics instead of all this new shite they're always forcing down our necks.

I've seen them three times. They were a fantastic live band in their prime, no question. They occasionally pop up on my IPod when it's on shuffle, generally skip to the next track to be honest.
