Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

BRMC are playing at Twenty Wonder in LA on 09 July. Anyone in the area? BF, you should go, it's a good cause!

Great band, might try to get to the Manchester Ritz, they were incredible in Liverpool a few years back.

Go for it, Billy! I'm going to Hamburg and Berlin, contemplating a third one ...

The first concert of the tour in Belfast on Sunday night was everything I hoped for!!
They are totally on form - smokin'!!!
The new songs sounded great and they didn't half whip the Belfast crowd into a frenzy. The place was apeshit!
Opened with Let the Day Begin, can't remember the order but they played, In Like A Rose, Berlin, Screaming Gun, whatever Happened, White Palms, Aint No Easy Way, Love Burns, and then some. In all they played for over two hours and seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Was a wee bit disappointed that they didn't play Aya or Mama Taught me ..
But that's only a small thing. Might be lucky in Berlin/Hamburg next month.
Peter Hayes was awesome, as usual. If you have the chance to catch them on this tour, do yourself a massive favour!!

I have it on pre-order. Won't get it till Monday.
THeir version of Let the Day Begin is brilliant, though and anything new I
heard
on Sunday night certainly stood up to the live test.
The reviews I've read so far were very positive also.
Apparently it's the usual type mix of styles but darker and dirtier on the whole - now that can't be bad :)

Na, of course, if I should receive two, you'll be the first to receive my second ;)

Although this thread is a bit tumbleweedy, I will persevere!

Pics of BRMC in Belfast last Sunday.
