Another good show at the Leadmill this weekend. Mac in good voice and not too ratty with the audience. Ian "Kingbird" Broudie was busy with production duties soo Gordy was drafted in at the last minute. As a result the setlist was a little different - no Sorrow, but more solo stuff like Arthur. Good, good night, but boy was it cold in that smaller room. Anyone know who the 'hired help' is on this tour - a bloke called Dean who gets Mac's drinks from the bar (looks a bit like a camp Vinnie Jones) ?

Don't know whether to go to the St Helens citadel on Saturday. it's only 20 mins away for me but I haven't bothered getting a ticket yet because the Mac solo stuff doesn't really appeal to me, although I know he does a few bunnymen covers.

I'd go - there's always a lot more Bunnymen material than solo stuff and Mac is always much more fun to watch on his own. Been to York, Leeds and Sheffield on this tour & they've all been excellent.

Excellent - hope you enjoy the show 5times. Will this make you 6times?
Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the show. I wonder if Ian Kingbird Broudie with be back in the frame?

I'm 11 times bunnymen and this will be 1st time Mac solo (I'm going to start a thread on that ). 5 times refers to Liverpool's European cup successes but I don't want to talk about football at the moment....
I'm looking forward to this tomorrow night. I'll send a review on Sunday.
