anyone been watching this? a bit cliched - set in brighton, 'retired' gangster drawn back into it, two sons, one who prefers chaps to the ladies, eastern european bad chaps (not our good murdering gangsters obviously) with the twist of, well you know what if you've been watching it - though the close ups and funny camera work that tell us when the old geezer is having an 'episode' are quite annoying, and its one of those series thats on every night. So having moaned about it, it is pretty good as in infinitely preferablt to downton abbey or midsumemr murders - and its got richard e grant being richard e grant, someting which he does vbery well indeed. When the bloke on the radio reviewed it he said it was good to see paul nicholls back on the telly. I htought he said nicholas, as in the cheeky chappy from just good friends and grandmas party tonight, not to mention cousin kevin in Tommy. But no he meant the lad from east enders. Even so, one of the better bits of the telly lately, last tango in halifax included (which only gets a mention due to some raquel from coronation street in potential girl on girl action).

Thought about watching it, but nah. When I think of Brighton's underworld, I think of Dickie Attenborough as Pinkie Brown and would like it to stay that way. The 2010 film weren't too bad either.

Hah, just because you're name isn't in my little black (well little pink paisley) book doesn't mean anything.
