That is quite fabulous, in my opinion.

Thanks for posting.

WOW that's fantastic, why can't Ian write lyrics to that. If Ian would let Will & Les write the music and he writes the lyrics then we would all have the Bunnymen record that we have been waiting for and wishing for. One can only dream . . .

I think that he doesn't play guitar like he used to does he? Should have taken more care with his fingers. I blame the painting. Makes all your fingers get covered in dried paint that crumbles off every time you try to hit a string and makes everything really messy. And then there are the paper cuts. Can't play guitar with thick plasters wrapped around your fingers. I for one will no longer be buying his records.

Think it sounds great myself.

Probably does sound more Bunnymen-ish of the three tracks, or maybe Electrafixion-ish given the guitar bits are heavier. This track is going to sound great live.

sound of the bunnymen my eye. If they'd have sounded like that in 1979 I'd have given them a wide birth. Mind you, i only started listening to eno and other ambient type dudes after getting into space age freakout. so who knows. I'll be buying albums by the cult next.

Hate to say this but without a singer Im finding it hard to keep my interest above a couple of minutes let alone a whole ep or album...

Agreed. I keep waiting for a singer to come in. Love the music, better than anything the Bunnymen have done since Evergreen but the song seems unfinished to me.

Cant say I mind music without words, listen to it all the time while I'm at work. Mind you, we've said it before, but i'll say it again, we could probably collectively or on our own write some McCullochian lyrics. What if we all turn up and then start singing - during the quiet bits obviously.

There you are, if you really really want vocals. Play the track, do your best Mac singing impression (post 90s reformation, obviously) and off you go.

1. Start your singing at: 0.37

It's the twists and the turns of the cigarette burns
The holes in the mind of the nebulous mass
You'll get no returns if you don't learn
The dip between mine and the hole in your past
I need a love a love without question
A clean mind and a pocket of space
I want a map and a sense of direction
Looking for love and the thrill of….

Chorus

Your Mind Is A Box
Let us fill it with wonder
Your Mind Is A Box
Let us fill it with wonder

Wonder
YEAH

2. 1.37 next verse

Too many thoughts put a twist in my thinking
I just can't think straight anymore
I've got the bends I can feel myself sinking
Just can't keep on keep on coming back for more
Hey love, there's no need to worry
I've got nails, so hold on hold on
Think back before you started thinking about
The things you were sold on sold on

Chorus X2

Oh yeah, oh yeah, shooby-shooby shooby-shoo oh yeah,
oh yeah x 20

Chorus X2

3. Now cough it all up.
