Rush Concert

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Rush Concert

Took my 13 yr. old son who is also a Rush fan (and more specifically a Neil Peart fan), to their show last night. They played three hours worth of tunes, and despite their grandfather status managed to expend energy that bands a third of their age don't have. We had fairly decent seats and managed to get some good photos. My son is generally low key, and to see him as excited as he was certainly was worth every penny spent on tickets ($120), parking ($8), a program ($20), hoodie ($80) and food and drinks (what seemed like $50). Can't wait to see them again. If Sunday wasn't a school night, we'd be at the Cleveland show.

Does Geddy Lee still sing like he's got his bollocks trapped in a vice?

My friend took his 14yo to Rush recently too. The kid is nuts about that band. I saw them a couple of times in the early 80s. I can't say that I really liked anything they did after Moving Pictures though. Good for them for still doing it and getting great reviews.

You can't get any more middle of the road without getting a pair of white stripes painted on your back.
