I thought it was great, too. I loved when Sayid showed up at the vet and you heard the voice and just knew it was Ben talking. And then they showed him and how he says "good" at the end. Perfect!

This season does appear to be better paced and constructed more like a novel instead of just meandering around. I think knowing exactly how many episodes they have left to get their story across helps a lot.

Just watched last night's episode...

Best this year, by far.

Yes, a most excellent episode.

This has been the best Lost season so far...
Mr. Brian, I find that offensive.

Scouser's inability to se others' point of view is rather grating.

I think all of the episodes will eventually get aired. Here's a good summary of the producers'/writers' plans.

Sorry...us Brits are a few days behind.

But I agree, great Desmond episode. Great series.

I just dont get their concept for time travel. An electro-magnetic field creates instant time-travel whereby the body is transported to and from positions in time and space whilst apparently all observers see the object in continuing real time?Too elaborate. At least in Dr Who objects physically move from the time reference. Also the rat hadnt yet been taught the maze. The inference was that the guy taught the rat an hour later. But the effect was to kill the rat therefore it was never actually shown the correct path.So how did it go through the maze?

I think it's funny when people try to apply logic to tv shows/movies that involve time travel.

It doesn't have do make sense because time travel doesn't exist.

I think Desmond drifted off for 75 mins and then came back -- so that gave your man at least 15 mins to teach the rat ...v clever rat

Exactly! I like Lost because I can shift my brain into neutral and just enjoy a big dumb ass show.

Problems I had with last night's episode:

-Have trouble suspending disbelief vis-a-vis Ben having heterosexual feelings for Juliet.

-Juliet's hotness is plummeting. I don't like her stoop-shouldered posture, and she has a serious case of old-lady arms. She need serious toning with an emphasis on back work.

Anybody else still following this?

Last night's episode raised more questions than it answered I think.

I like that.
