I got an urge to listen to Heaven Up Here this morning on the way to work.
This album was my intro to the band and still my favorite overall. The whole thing is just mesmerizing to me still and so much is going on in those songs. Mac's yipping and wailing, he seems like he is just going to lose it at the end of the title track too. Mac and Will's guitars are interwoven just perfectly. There are times when the choppiness of the guitar blends perfectly with Pete's drums as if there were two drummers and Les' circular bass lines just glues it all together. Great great stuff. They were one tight band back then.

For me, the greatest album ever made.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'
