'History chimes' ??

I didn't know there was another (early) version of this (Bunnymen) song !
Does anyone know where it came from, is that a bside or some rare to find extra-track ?

I didn't notice that either but other songs on from the WAYGTDWYL were recycled Mac solo songs like Rust and Fools like Us used lines and music from Ribbons and Chains.

I am guessing they dug up the original demo or unreleased solo track because this song has never appeared other than on WAYGTDWYL.

I'm really curious to hear (early) History Chimes compared to the already stripped down piano-led version that's on WAYGTWYL.

It might be a full band version - it was a common one on setlists in the early 90s.

These are all remastered-correct?

I'm thinking it definitely makes sense to get Slideling, but not sure about the other two.

I have the 2 disc version of Candleland/Mysterio from 2007 with bonus tracks. But it looks like these have more extras.

What the hell is the difference between the "carpenter's son mix" and "rock mix" of Faith & Healing?? I've got the original CDs (US maxi and US 2 track promo "rock mix") and can't hear any difference. I haven't got the new reissue to check, though. Do I have to buy it? Surely they're one and the same, and remixed by Mark Saunders (not Ray Shulman as the promo CD incorrectly states)?

just took advantage of HMVs demise. Wasn't that much left - though anyone who wants to set up a record shop get down there now cos you can even buy the shelves - and passing the Ms on my way out, cursing myself cos in my wish to get the best bargain I'd left it too late, and came across both resissues for 7.50 each. get in there and up yours ebay! Looking forward to hearing those faith and healing remixes.

I hope they were shrink-wrapped.
