Instrumental Bunnymen Album

Echo and The Bunnymen are to release a solely instumental record this Christmas.
Long term member Will Sergeant has reunited with bassist Les Pattinson, who left in 1999 but has been recording with Sergeant on his solo record `Things Inside.`

One notable absence is frontman Ian McCulloch. Asked on McCulloch's absence and whether or not there was a possibility that the 3 surviving members were considering an album together Sergeant said "To be honest I don't really know what he feels about it we had a brief discussion and there were no objections."

However, it is unlikely that the 3 members will record an album together as Pattinson is believed to still have concerns on working with McCulloch.
