Baltic Fleet

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Did not realize Baltic Fleet had a new cd in 2008. I like it a lot. Castellon Dress is a fav so far. Will plays guitar on "Berlin 8MM" a slow haunting tune that shows off Flemming's skills at piano melodies with a cool build a the end.

Some sons have very organic sounding drums others have the 808 feel like this one:

This album keeps getting better with every listen. Kind of like the first four EATB albums.

2008 was the debut. A site had it as the release of Towers making me think the debut was released in 2007.
Towers is out now.

It's not quite out yet. The cover artwork was only shown off today on twitter.

I think the debut album 'Planes, Trains and Digital Delays' was first released in 2006 on Scrapbook Records, then re-released in a slightly different format (a couple of tracks are different whilst the track order and some titles are changed) in 2008 under the title 'Baltic Fleet' on Blow-Up Records. The track 'Cocaine' from the original release is not on the second issue.

Thank you.

I have Planes, Trains, and Digital Delays from 2006 and Baltic Fleet from 2008.

I should have simply looked at the back of the case.

Looking forward to this one. There was a promo CD for Engage on Ebay a couple of weeks ago, now gone.

I tried getting "Towers" but apparently it isn't available until 30 July. Maybe it's a US thing?

I am enjoying the eponymously titled album very much.

EDIT: Answering my own question, "Towers" isn't available on Amazon until 30 July. I thought I would wait and purchase it through Mr. B's link because I'm awesome like that.

There's a link to buy it direct from the band through the Bunnymen's Facebook page. Haven't ordered yet though.

Got it on the day of release (MP3, couldn't wait for the CD). Nice album, though admittedly I do prefer the first one as a whole, having bought both at the same time. Probably because some dude is playing the guitar bits on the first one but there's a bigger variation in the tunes. Towers, Engage, Headless Heroes of the Acropolis and Toire De seem to be the stand-out tracks.
