Last day of school, first day of summer

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

Last day of school, first day of summer

Postby Malbert » Wed Jun 20, 2012 7:14 am

Kids are out for 10 weeks for the summer, and I'm looking forward to it (until next week when I say I can't wait for school to start again). To get the summer going, our annual party is this weekend. Would any one else like to share with the class some of their summer plans?

I can't wait to get out to the archipelago here, it is so beautiful, but so far it keeps on raining.
Although midsummer is promised to be sunny.

Ten weeks of school summer holidays? No wonder you Americans are so thick.

Oh dear, VB. Not as thick as the English binge drinking, combing and vomiting in the streets, people passed out in alleyways. And that's a quiet Tuesday night....by 16 year olds. Doesn't even have to be summer!
All depends on where you go and all but that seems to be the norm. When I go there, which is always quite fun, it's like going to the zoo to watch the wild animals. Now who's thick, eh?

I've got some talking to do with you Billy Bibbit, but my wife and I forgot our daughter in a pub and have to go get her. But just wait till I get back! Now where did I leave my influence on the world stage? It must be here somewhere. Oh, here it is under my EDL pamphlet.

Ah yes, the english, try living next door to them.

Though I have always viewed them as thinner, slightly more intelligent and posher Americans.

Billy, if I have to accept Appalachian Bible thumpers as my fellow Americans, you must own the English.

I will have you know that 4/5 of Americans CAN find America on a world map!
And we have very bright young people figuring out ways to help the other 1/5

America is a melting pot. Some are just melted more than others.
