Yes, they do seem to be very low key festivals so far......I wonder why....

Anyone else think it's nice that the Buns are taking a break for a minute and are giving it some space?

Yes I do actually but I hope it is not the end......... although I'd rather they called it a
day than limp on if they are both unhappy/unfulfilled....

And is it true that nobody noticed or even gave a shit until you mentioned it today?

No one but the packed arenas and stadiums they have been playing since. But EATB is doing great playing 30 minutes set festival tours. Good stuff.

Not true. And I'm pretty sure Scouser is with me on this one.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

The same was true about the Beatles of course. their inability to play the V Festival in '61 and T in the Park in '62 heralded their dramatic demise from '63 onward. There were some who reckoned they could have made something of themselves had they made the effort.

though they used their spare time to release about a dozen albums in about seven years. idle gits. though to be fair, the white album is more of a fairly good ep with 50 tracks of filler. Jack will confirm. no doubt.

White Album fans comprise a different genre of Beatles fan. I don't really know much about that record, and have never really listened to it. I'm much more of a Help!/Rubber Soul/Revolver era fan.

its the sound of a bunch of blokes with too much money and nobody around who'll say sorry lads, that's awful. George steals the show. I'm not sure if its this (it may be revolver, i picked up the remasters at the same time) but lennon is quoted as saying its got 'bit if this, bit of that and more of paul's granny music', though internet sources differ. A fair description of macca's input. Though his own is generally npo better. In short, its their difficult 10th album.

I like the really early stuff - had a vinyl I thought was their best - not a real record by them but great collection of songs

I have the white album. I guess not listening to it much makes it like Sandinista. There are a few very good songs - thankfully for itunes you can by singles again.

the return of singles is such a good thing in my opinion. Would be nice if they were .wav files.
