Just had E-mail about this, The Lucid Dream who released 12" on Bunnymen's Euphoric Records label in 1991 (produced by Will & Jake) and toured with band, played at Euphoric Liverpool event, CD has just been released (check out Ebay) on US label Elephant Stone Records.

this is The Lucid Dream from Carlisle
The Lucid Dream join Fruits de Mer with a 7" single, combining their epic track, 'Hits Me Like I'm Stoned' with a cover of a lovely slice of 60s psych, Factory's 'Try A Little Sunshine' - The Lucid Dream produce "beautiful traditional psychedelia" (so said Lauren Laverne on BBC6) and they do it for FdM with an all-new, mind-blowing A-side b/w a great 60s cover.
....and here's an excerpt from 'Try A Little Sunshine'....
worth checking out
Or is it like the old Lucid Dream left one by one to replaced by new members who are now the new Lucid dream and so it's still the same band!!!! they just now perform without any original members

I saw the Bunnymen on final two nights of that 1991 UK Tour at The Bordeline, I remember The Twiggs played first night, The Lucid Dream on the last.
Did anyone else get to see either band on the Tour? Both were pretty damn good acts. The Twiggs were more laid back.
Both acts played at the Euphoric Records (Bunnymen label) launch party in liverpool. Didn't get to that one though. A good era that. Loved that Bunnymen era, 'Reverberation' LP etc.
The Lucid Dream however were a full on show, manic. Really going for it. Excellent live act. Really garagey. I remember they covered 13th Floor Eleavators 'Levitation' that night and the Bunnymen 'Reverberation'. Also TLD covered 'Going All The Way' psych garage classic from the Pebbles Compilations by The Squires.
