I had recorded this so i watched it yesterday and the end is missing because they were late on the schedule (!).
I've watched about 10 minutes and it was a stupid report, alost mocking Ian as if he was only a bigmouth and almost a one-hit wonder with The Killing Moon.
They talked about a polemic between Ian and Nick Cave (apparently they insult each other quite often), showed a couple of vintage videos (Seven Seas), showed a snippet of the Liverpool docimentary when you see a young Mac playing football, well nothing interesting at all, i'm not even angry i missed the end.

Quite a surprise from ARTE as generally their programmes are very well made but here it was a parody.

(sorry for the english mistakes or poor vocabulary)

Well, Ian did mention he was unhappy with the journalist at the Paris show. The interesting thing about the end is that he allegedly refused to be interviewed with Will.

Unfortunately thats all Mac's fault, having fostered the image through repeatedly slagging other artists. He might have got away with it had he delivered a few hits here and there and his voice wasn't shot but he still has very little to say thats new - beswt song ever written, best album since ocean rain etc. Anyone round here could write a mac interview without thinking too hard about it.
