I've told this story before but years ago I was playing golf and was paired up with a stranger who saw my Bunnymen sticker on my golf bag and told me he was in a terrible band called Rubber Radio who opened for the Bunnymen and that Hugh Jones produced one of their albums. It was a great few hours of golf and conversation about post-punk music. I never really pursued the matter much but for some reason thought of them just now. Apparently they have a wikipedia page now.

Oh my God the guy wasn't kidding. I told him I would look them up and he said don't bother they were awful.
