Excited to hear the rest of the album. New photo on the pledge site is a winner, lol. That is one classy looking bumper car, if that's what it is.

Will says.....

"Hi Plegers just like to say a big thank you for helping me get this show on the road. You should by now be downloading my new record. I am on course to get the other items out within 30 days and all is rosy in the garden. The whole experience has been so smooth easy and enjoyable, a chimp could do it."

A chimp could, but not Mac, apparently.

Went through it this morning. Good stuff. I suppose it's all about getting it promoted to shift the remaining copies that he hasn't sold via pledge. These days it should be easy to get reviewed by online music mags. And maybe in the UK, even Gideon Coe on BBC6 music might play this sort of thing. Talking about Gideon Coe, he will be featuring a Bunnymen concert from 1988 tonight from around 21.00 GMT.

Of course it is great! We knew it would be from the clips and Will's previous form...

I'm not weeping ??

Just to clarify the
Bunnymen without Mac - "Nien Danke!" comment......the crucial word there is BUNNYMEN!!

Will's solo album is not the Bunnymen! I do not want the Bunnymen without Will or Mac.

I really like it. But I like the stuff on the Kranky label and Harold Budd, and this is in that vein.

I am not going to say it is super amazing. It is simply good. And a relief to hear that one half of the band can still make good music.

Dragonflies, Toy Piano Mantra, and Into The 1970s are the stand outs.

Ditto. I kind of like the way that Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic breaks it up - a nod to things related to the BBC Shipping Forecast of all things - otherwise it might get slightly monotonous. Does grow after repeated listens and is quite a clever piece of music with nothing in it that you'd immediately assume it featured one current and one former Bunnymen band member. It's not like you could actually get Mac to do the vocals and then call it a Bunnymen album (might not appeal to everyone because of that though). I'm looking forward now to hearing this on vinyl, pops and crackles combined.

Postcard box, CD and t-shirt (large) arrived safely on Saturday. Album sounds fantastic, I think I may listen to it on the exercise bike to get in shape for the t-shirt (bit tight  )
