I started reading "Compendium One" at the point where they find the prison, and wtf? Those people have sex ALL THE TIME! Thank goodness the tv show isn't like that, or I wouldn't watch. I thought the books were very violent, and I hope they tone down the rape inflicted by The Govenor for tv. Her revenge on him was very "Dragon Tattoo"-ish. I'd like to read more, but all that violence is taking its toll. I need a breather.

Those AMC shows are all pretty dark, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Hell On Wheels, The Killing, even Mad Men all highlight the dark side.
