I remember that, I bet it was something along the lines of "You can't stop it from happening." or "It's going to get us all." type of thing. You know, your everyday doom and gloom.

Those Walkers seem pretty good at ripping stuff apart when they smell something good to eat.
I actually like the moat idea but the problem is they don't seem to have time to make one and fill it with water before that horde of walkers on the horizon reaches them.

No they very nearly pushed that school bus door open.

You could get a starter moat finished in about 30 day, I think. You could have a bit of a fence on the inside edge to increase the effective depth. Just has to corral them for 12 hours for the next day's killin'.

Yeah that's true and I guess a padlock did keep them in the wooden barn but they got in those office building pretty easily when they were in the city and right to the roof, however like I said above, danger in imminent. They don't have 30 days from the looks of things.

True. This show is starting to lose it's credibility. They can get through multiple metal and glass doors of a modern office building but a 100 year old barn with a Masterlock and chain is too much for them?

C'mon, it's totally believable! Didn't you see the movie "Signs"? I absolutely accepted the fact that aliens had the technology to travel gazillions of light years away yet were unable to open a door by turning the knob.

Plus, Hershel fed them so they weren't starving. I can imagine them saying amongst themselves after getting a chicken thrown at them "Hmmm...tastes like human."

Plus, the thing about "metal and glass doors" is that you only have to break the glass. The metal is pretty much irrelevant.

You get enough zombies pressing up against a glass door, it will fracture. Also, you're more likely to get these large, densely-packed groups in urban settings.

A more compliant material like wood is actually better, in addition to the fact that you're less likely to get large bunches at a barn door in the country.

I've been asked to write a six page zombie comic for an artist to illustrate. I think I have just the story.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

Make sure it really gets into the compliance of various door materials.

Season finale kicked total ass, and wtf was that with the hoodie and armless zombies who saved Andrea!? I'm going to read the books to find out more since I can't wait until the fall to see more. Here I started out too chicken to watch the show (still am a little), but the story is so good I have to work around it.

Michone is the hooded figure, who is a person who has figured out much more that the little group we have been following. The story just changed big time. Apparently it is a major character in the comic. If you want to know more Google Michone.
