Maybe, but in regards to the thread title - I haven't actually heard Watch Me Land. Is it even up yet?...

Hopefully the actual words and tune shall be better than what we think. But expectations are low.

lol. wait for it.... wait for it....! oh, it's over already.

"watch me land." is that about coming off a bender?

and what kind of pony operation was The Fountain. total laurel and hardy productions. looking forward to the new [s]mac[/s] bunnymen stuff that's supposed to come out later in the year. what comes after the 'holy trinity of songs?" yeah exactly.

No.

This, alongside with Lift Me Up, is quite good in my opinion. Couldn't get into the other couple of songs, so it's 50/50 now.

Better than nothing then, but let's not forget the last [s]Mac[/s], Bunnymen Album,
which was underwhelming to say the least.

I thought this new tune sounded like "Idolness of Gods" but more up tempo. Too much piano though in my opinion.

I haven't visited Mac's pledge page to listen. Now that you mention piano I'll hold off further.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

you should definitely play it. it's pure comedy.

and for those who have said there's a resemblance to bob dylan in any capacity, that's an insult to BD.

It resembles Bob Dylan in ANY respect?

I'll pass. Feeling silly for pledging now.

no, it doesn't resemble it at all in my perspective! if you don't like bob dylan now you might love him after you hear this song. it is shite.

If listening to Watch Me Land had the side effect of making me appreciate Dylan then that's a double pass. Thanks for the warning. You're a real pal.

I can't think of anything that would make me appreciate Bob Dylan.
