Look if we wanted a comedy act we'd go and listen to Chas n' Dave.
The Bunnymen's songs are about being on a higher plane.
Proxy is a steaming pile of shit.

I call it a summery fun song. Which I do understand isn't what the fans want.

We'd rather they produced a decent album.
Mac's voice is near enough shot, but something along the lines of Evergreen and Siberia would suffice.

I think this is widely known.

Are you trying sarcasm by any chance?

Proxy for example - can't anyone laugh at it AND enjoy it?

I can't listen to Proxy but I'm all for amusing or tongue-in-cheek stuff in music as long as it fits the actual song/music, which I don't think is the case with It's Alright.

A better choice would've been Make Me Shine as the lead single, followed by An Eternity Turns, great song that they should play more often.

jingly jangly is good in my book...

yeah but its this dull bid tempo not quite bouncy sort of nothingness. Shroud on the other hand I htink i ought to hate but its sillness and, obv, the four* note killer sergentian riffette makes up for everything.

C

* an estimate obviously

Oh yeah, that's deffo a good example - I'd say it's cringe-worthy, but I'm used to/into this track. It was pretty good live, from what I remember seeing on YouTube.
