i don't mind paying for things and do spend in excess sometimes but to be taken for a ride is another thing.

On another note, I think in_bluer_skies is right. Will's pledge page was reasonable and fair, while Mac kept adding crap to get more ducats from the fans, and to what end? If Will can release his album with a significantly lesser amount of money, why was Mac's goal so excessive? It seems fishy to me.

Did I hear mention of my name? I'm tempted by the £50 print of Will's but £100 for Mac's is beyond I'm afraid, if it was anywhere near the quality of the Fountain cover I'd willingly pay £100 if it was signed by Mac but I'd want it signed for Elvis and all four Beatles for that kind of dosh.

It works for me likewise, not because it is the greatest piece of music I have ever heard, it's not and I think this album will probably end up as nice background music to listen to (IMHO those two tracks would be even better with some percussion of some sort), but he tends to think outside the box (or whatever the saying is). It doesn't sound like something he has done before meaning that it is obvious that he is experimenting for the sake of experimenting. This is where the Bunnymen have gone wrong for me (i.e. trying other things) and out of my fading interest in that band, Will is pretty much filling the void now. And for that I have full respect for him as a musician. The stuff that Mac has revealed from his album just sounds like any "Bunnymen" music of the last decade minus Will's guitar. It's unexciting.
