It's all gone.

Crashed?

That's one way of saying it.

Maybe Ivan has the back ups somewhere.

No. You misunderstand. The forum under Peters control crashed multiple times and was wiped clean, people had to sign up again several times. That is pretty much the reason this fan site here added a forum. It's been up for nearly 5 years with zero crashes and one minor rollback.

Absolutely. Some CLASSIC moments were had there. Imagine if we could dredge up my first post? I believe it was something like, "Hey guys! What's your favorite EatB song?!?!!!"

What a treat that would be for all of you.

I found the first Usenet mention of the Bunnymen. It was a review if Porcupine in 1982. All that Seven Seas stuff is there archived but not a shred of BOF from 97-2011.

I think that was the lady who panned Ocean Rain on usenet in 84. It was amazing to me she still had the same email!

Yeah that was it. IIRC it took a bit of cyber stalking to find her. She doubled-down on not liking OR.

Is it me, or should we find out where she lives and show up at her house?

The internet is FOREVER BITCH!!!!!

I think it's funny how an old fan like her bailed on them because she thought Ocean Rain was a sell out!

Yeah. Jerk.

Hey here's something that you all find fascinating: THE OLDEST BUNNYMEN-RELATED EMAIL IN MY INBOX

January 5, 2005:

DayGlo is playing a song called

The Armoury Show - Castles in Spain

it's such a Echo & the Bunnymen ripoff.

At least now no one can see where I thought Flowers or Siberia were good albums. I liked them when they came out but once the excitement wore off... not so much.

Maybe I should just wipe this thing out too and keep things consistent with history. We can vote on it with a poll. The first 5 people, the only people to reply, can decide.

 Would BF recover from the shock of having to re-register and starting with a post count of zero again? I vote NOOOO! (and I wouldn't want to lose the Obligatary first thread to a thousand posts)
There's times when I've been deeply indifferent

or maybe this (2000ish?):

or a press release about the "Best of the Trash" compilation, dated July 2000:

That Hawking thing was great!

Your fansite was the first place I heard WAYGTDWYL songs. You had posted a bootleg where they played some new songs.
