So Pandora is on and the opening of Dancing Horses comes blasting in stronger way than I've heard before. Hearing a crowd I realize it is a live version.
Yeah - Mac sounds like he rolled out of bed - but he hits the notes so cool with me - (really sounds like he has a stuffed up nose w/ no insinuation to drugs)
His vocals are so confident and the music mix is so strong
A review on amazon noticed how burned out his voice seems from the cigarettes.

Wasn't that the semi official live record from the Siberia tour?
Got some good songs on there, but you can tell they were struggling financially as NLF and Villiers Terrace are incredibly short.
Got the DVD and agree Mac's a bit bunged up.
Looks cool though.

I really like stormy wheater from this album. The studio version has some kind of emptyness that is filled with the keyborads used live.
About what you mentioned from amazon reviews, there's another one that mentions how would Mac's voice be if he quits smoking. I researched on web that the throat cells could regenerate if the individual stays without smoking and singing (for a while), and keep drinking a lot of water. I wonder how much regeneration Mac could actually get.

Or maybe he should smoke unfiltered Camels like Sinatra.
