Best/worst albums of 2007

Tired of discussing the Bunnymen and all the bands that have been influenced by them? This is the place for you.

New here - resurrecting this topic as I was trolling around - decided to come out of the gate ready to get hit. A lot.

1 - I liked the second Editors album. A lot. (no - I'm not 15)

2 - There was a TON of great new music last year - but I think most of the best "innovative, doesn't sound like a bunch of other bands" is happening in smaller pockets of sub-genres... something most of us, as we age, don't have as much time to find.

3 - Some great and innovative records? (Let the beating me up commence...)

Buck 65 - Situation
Abdominal - Escape From The Pigeon Hole
Deerhunter - Cryptograms
Loney, Dear - Loney, Noir
MIA - Kala
Maps - We Can Create

4 - Some stuff that bears resemblences (but still rock and aren't resembling a lot of "obvious" things)

A Place To Bury Strangers
Airiel
The Pipettes
Air Formation
Stars

Anyways - hello. Please - let the beating up of the newb who resurrected a pointless post begin [smirk].[/list]

not to shatter your hopes and dreams, but we usually don't beat up newbies.

we save that for the douchebags we already know.

I just saw many a swing at musical taste and figured it might blowback... not worried if it DID... just trying to prepare myself [smirk]

I love Flowers, the new website and I think Mac's voice is better than ever.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I do and I am ready to declare the Nice Boys self titled album the best of 2006 until present day.
