Well, everyone was talking about videos related to the one posted by kok, that's why I didn't start a new topic. But thanks for the info, these 2 songs are really good, no?

Yeah, imo, I was pleasantly surprised at how good they sound. Especially being one that feels his crooning schtick kind of sucks. Blue Moon might be an old recording, though.
Mr. Brian?

That movie isn't exactly new - looks pretty good - and the soundtrack looks good and Ian's voice sounds good.

Don't know if this was discussed here - it may have been a topic I missed at The BOF.

The movie was released in 2000 in the UK, which would explain the decent vocals. Don't think it was ever shown in the U.S.

Phew. Just what we didn't need, another soccer movie. Bend It Like Beckham was torture enough.

well jimmy grimble came out a couple of years before bend it like beckham over here so thats merely youre own needs youre talking about. Plus footy's about the only thing in common - bilb is more about race and being a second or a third generation asian growing up in britain and grimbles really is more of a footy story - the classic comic book billy's boots, with abit of class warfare and age concern thrown in.

I absolutely love Ian's version of Blue Moon, never knew it was from a movie.
