Mac's coming to L.A.

General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Just don't get all judgmental on him when he hits one of us with a whiskey bottle.

Gets my vote anyway.

I'm teetering towards coming down for this....there's a few people that would make it worth my while, even if Mac's homeless screechy voiced doppelgänger shows up to perform instead.

better than the Mac that usually turns up.

Urm yeah, can you kill this sodding light. Looking for Bollocks. Can we have more salt and vinegar. Any questions, and don't shout out song requests. Shut the fuck up.

You're right. 1. What's the point in going to a show where you can't see anything. 2. What's the point in not having a crowd reaction. Should be happy they're still coming. I can see how the crowd heckling thing would be annoying but it doesn't always happen. Never seen a crowd get shouted at for singing all the lyrics until now.... Getting burnt out on the antics.

I think he feels that the Mac the Mouth thing is still clever. Not at 52.

And no one has the cahones to tell him to get a grip. There is no 'worst that can happen' in this situation.

Anyone see the 3rd show of the three in Dec '09?

Liverpool O2? Yes indeed, great night, mind you I'd had a couple.

That first night was fantastic, second was stellar and the 3rd was quite interesting. I'd never seen Ian out of his mind like that (live) so it was well worth the $$ paid.

We had quite a few that night as well but surely not enough to be properly legless as seen in show 3!

It was similar to this but the 'spoken word' was about LFC, etc:

Yeah. I think he ended up making it over to the drum riser to have a rest for a bit.
