You are right VB. Everybody, Crystal89 is a fraud and has been pretending to be Mac. I think he/she pretended to be JackT as well.

I think it'll be the last thing they do.
There's no way Mac could get through it.

The first 2 songs would kill him.

Anyone bad mouths "Clay" has to answer to me. I will cutchoo man!
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

That's why I'm against Porcupine ever being performed in its full entirety, moreso than Ocean Rain. And I for one would not go want to go through the experience. The majority of that album would sound awful live with Mac singing the way he does now. Clay, the title track, Ripeness and Gods Will Be Gods particularly. It would be like listening to a very poor covers band. Higher Hell and In Bluer Skies would sound fine though and should have been added to the greatest hits setlist years ago. The only way they could get round it would be to totally rework the original songs, but that wouldn't appeal to the diehards who'd expect it to sound the same as the album version, yet accepting it completely different vocally.

Got a lovely Porcupine pin on Ebay a few weeks ago, shiny green and enamel thingy. If they play it I shall wear it on my chest for the occasion with my war medals.

Porcupine is my favorite album and I think I agree with that, it would be a struggle at this point.

Any thoughts on when it all might come to an end? Would it even be possible to attempt Porcupine?

I did love the Ocean Rain/Croc-HUH shows that I saw.

I didn't think he would be able to pull of the Ocean Rain show but he did. I don't think Porcupine is necessarily more difficult than Crocs or HUH.

I can envision the middle of "In Bluer Skies" being a great time to break out into a stop-the-show ramble on moment.
