Here's another new version of The Killing Moon featuring a bloke with a Mexican accent, a girl dancing (or whatever you want to call it) and some spooky tall bald guy. Bet that beats McNabb's version.

Mr. Brian, unseen *and* unheard! Got 2 of the senses going from that which both are in need of dire repair.

BF, I’m going with some form of Moonshine for the video. At least that is almost guaranteed to cause a blackout. Absinthe may just take it to another level. Speaking of, I’ve only had Absinthe a handful of times and the only occasion it ever did anything trippy to me was at a work do, of all places. I recommend that everyone try it at a function like that.

Mac gets nothing!

I'll tell you who does sell it, Topline Wine in Glendale. Fantastic shop.

Someone should have sent in Ian McNabb's version to the Buns page when they were posting those cover versions....

That sounds a little too classy for me!

That's five steps from being a Portlandia video. I like how the singer plays the snare part on his guitar.

I thought it wasn't that bad especially as it's not a massive leap from the original, but the tempo is a little bit slow. It gets a bit boring eventually, or maybe that's from me listening to The Killing Moon too many times in the past. I also found a version by that Lopez chap done live with string arrangement back in 2009 - better.

I once had a pair of Lopez jeans as a kid. I think they came from Top Man. I remember getting a dog turd on one knee and I never wore them again.

How does that happen, exactly?

I'm thinking the Mac show is gonna be BYOB. Jack and I will be bringing LA's finest Tecate in can form.
