General discussion about the band, live shows, its recordings or bootlegs, etc. You can buy, sell or trade here. You can even post eBay links. If it's about the Bunnymen, it goes here.

Maybe you're right Black Francis (oh dear, now I'm agreeing with you!). In sports terms they're playing not to lose, not playing to win.

On a side note, has anyone else been keeping up with the forum posts over there lately? Truly pointless. I think all the intelligent people are over here. Give yourselves a hand.

We've agreed once or twice before. I'm sure of it. I've swung by the official forum about five times since it was closed (no posting of course) and have noticed withahip posting a little to frequently and enthusiastically for my tastes. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt....for now.
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

In an effort to keep the peace, I'm not going there.

I was referring to two new posters in particular. God bless them for their enthusiasm, though.

Everything on the other forum is very on the surface. As far as keeping up with posts there, they've got a sort of opposite to this post with the question asked, "what do the other members of the group bring to the band?"
I wanted to ask the poster of this thread if he/she had been in the neighborhood of Villiers Terrace lately. He/she would get a sh*tload of information.

And...........I don't believe Scouser is Mac because (supposedly) Mac can't see so how can he read and type?

The guy's been working on websites for nearly a decade now, so I'm confused as to why this incarnation is such a piece of shit.

Every link is to a canned site - whether it be the forum, the shop, the news section or the mailing list.

I can't believe the band and management would allow that to serve as the official site, even as a placeholder.

Nothing like some personal reflection time.

The one we've been waiting for since 2005? That the big deal will be that now we'll be able to stream each album from our desktop computer??????

At this point, shut the damn thing down. It's nothing but an embarrassment. I can't even find the words.

Not that I want to defend the crappy homepage, even as a temporary measure - but can I take it that "is it eckers like" doesn't translate well into 'murcan english?

I was hoping that someone would either translate "is it eckers like" into something understandable or point out the obvious typo (or lack of apostrophe) that I was missing. Oh well.

no point pointing out typos, par for the course. Jack used to be the apostrophe finder general over there. not sure how much you dont understand, sort of obvious in context. northern (english) phrase though. I think John Wayne might translate it as (tips hat, puts on deep voice) 'the hell it is'. Or something like that.
