This is actually true. I don't either. More to the point: who the fuck in their right mind would want the damn job? Count me out.

Stephen Colbert is bringing some attention to the newfangled "superPACs":

If we all wanted to live in a theocratic oligarchy, why the hell did we win our independence from England in 1776? Maybe we should have stayed put. King George wasn't THAT bad.

Get with the program, bf. Every time a Republican gets elected, the country gets turned into a Theocratic Oligarchy. Don't you remember the last couple of times this happened? All the religious presidents have done this. I think by far the greatest problem facing this nation right now is that we are this close to becoming a Theocratic Oligarchy. Again.

That's why we Brits sent all those crazy religious fanatics
your way, and why we sent our criminals to Australia.
Only problem is that they keep going on about it being the lord's wish they be elected.
Is that why Mitt Romney's angry that Gingrich's 2nd Wife was upset that his 3rd wife was his
new mistress, rather than her the old mistress?
Catholicism is a lot of fun isn't it?

So my agnostic neighbor who ran his business into the ground because of his coke problem is a hero?

All topics eventually come back to Mac.

In all seriousness, I don't believe our country will turn into either of those things. If you can't get just Xians alone to agree on a set of rules (here's looking at you, Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, etc.) this just won't happen.

Secondly, I don't even know what oligarchy is. I just like using big words to seem smart.
