Joyless divisions: the end of New Order

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Maybe he'll call it something similar to Russell Brand's? Maybe 'Hooky's Booky Wook'?

to be closely followed by a new order book. oh joy. Trouble with hooky is he's a good raconteur but not a v good writer. he needs JackT to check his grammar & spelling I say.

big interview in this months Mojo magazine, complete with 'power corruption and lies - covered' cd stuck on the front. Only given that half a listen and most seem to be fairly straight covers, sounds like a new order demo as much as anythng else - withthe exception of age of consent which is a bit like that woman and her japanese orchestra version of love will tear us apart.

The interview's mildly interesting. Could be better if only they were as chatty as hooky about things but they don't say much - apart form they get on with each other but not hooky and hooky seems to have a big problem with barneyand its hooky that left, they never said they were splitting up - which we've heard before I believe. Gillian wossname gives it straight - "when i left i didn't go around saying they couldn't so stuff without me" (apart from morris that is, lol). Worth a read though.

So much for the end of New Order. They have been announced as headliners of Future Music Festival traveling around Australia in March this year, but without Hooky,he'll be back in April playing this time "Closer" so I guess that might be the closest that they get in a while
The problem with self improvement is knowing when to quit.
