YUCK YUCK & YUCK

Is this the finished product or just the idea?

I so want to like "Pro Patria Mori” but it may be hard

I think it's demo stuff.....there's no way it won't get polished up before the official release.

You own "Flowers" right Malbert?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

I don't think so. But for you, I hope.

They sound like outtakes from Slideling. Not good.

It's too bad he can't sing anymore and has to go with the spoken word style.

That second one does certainly. Haven't heard Pro Patria Mori, so. At least there is a little bit of news in regard to Will's (much anticipated) album - I assume that announcement about Eva Petersen working with him is in relation to his album, not the other way round. Seems alright when she was with The Little Flames, not so solo. But I wonder what Will is lining up...

Yes Ghostie, that's what I understood from talking to Will before Christmas, that it's Will's album.

A good call by Will using a female vocalist then (and a pretty one at that). She reminds me of Marijne van der Vlugt (of Salad) vocally a little bit when she was in The Little Flames, mostly due to the music though.

I didn't realise that track "Don't Be Shy" is actually by Will Sergeant. It's been on Soundcloud for four months and we knew nothing about it. I don't think even Will referred to it, only Eva Petersen on her twitter feed in September.

Actually, I'm confused. On her myspace page is the same track but not the same mix and its credited as solely by her. She's obviously working with Will, but this isn't a Will solo album as such, a collaboration. Mr Sergeant has been surprisingly quiet about it.

None of my business, but I'm reminded of KOK's post about her dating Mac a few years ago.

Okay - despite my constant sarcastic comments - anytime Will and/or Mac put something out I start listening with an open mind -

I like this. I like the Duffy retro feel and I love Will's guitar which prevents it from being a Motown retread.

I give it 8 out of 10 stars. It has a good beat and I can dance to it. Good for you Will!!!!!

"former Little Flames vocalist 'Eva Petersen' and a DJ set by Echo and the Bunnymen’s 'Will Sergeant'"

They go to the same parties.
