What is you essential song from the Bunnymen? I mean, the one that means the most to you. I know it's hard!! Mine is Ocean Rain. Can't live without it! 8)

Mine is "All I Want."

A word of warning: even though this is WC's thread, I will take any "They are all so good I just can't choose" answers as a personal affront.

The Cutter.

I'd love to have that played at my funeral service. Think about it. That guitar opening blasting throughout the church.

Hey JackT, is your sig a Woody Allen line?

Essential song...this is always a tough one. It just depends on what mood I am in when I answer that question. If someone forced me to pick right at this moment I would say Show of Strength. I just love the dual guitar sound and Ian's operatic voice with that classic Les bass line

Yeah, I really should have put quotation marks around it.

It has to be Show of Strength for me too although I'm also rather fond of live versions of Over The Wall.

"The Game" for me. It was the first song of theirs I heard, and it changed my life.

Maybe not ALL so good, but there are several that it's hard to choose between. I was thinking that All My Colours is probably my fav over all, but it looks like Show of Strength and Thorn of Crowns are joint top of my playlist.
Don't know if that counts as a personal affront to you or not Jack, if not I'll try harder next time.
