That really wouldn't take much Mac.

Bit of a letdown tbh. Should make him take a breath test before he goes on stage based on his carry on last night.

round these parts that could mean any one of two things.

Firstly that his voice was not up to scratch, more fags than usual.

Or secondly, that a bit of the old Dutch Courage was in evidence.

The setlist was odd. They opened with The Fountain. The highlight for me was a vicious do it clean, shroud of Turin was good too.

Low points, Rust, he should stop playing this live, or rehearse it more if he's not happy with the way the band play it. Killing Moon was awful, sulking at the crowd for singing along. He was constantly forgetting the words and thinks people are there to listen to his rants.

He just didn't want to be there, which was a shame because the band sounded fantastic.

Shroud of Turin?

I'll wait for the [possible] bootleg.

Seems you are not alone.
Already people are complaining about last night.
If i had paid hard earned money for this shite I would be fuming.
Mac is taking the piss and it is ruining it for the band.

I put my thoughts on this on the other solo album post as I don't see how he is going to get fans to pledge money when he keeps carrying on like a twat on stage.
You have to feel sorry for the band as Mac is becoming a joke.
He is having a very public breakdown and he needs help.

Something is very very wrong.

First of all, we all seem to be very keen to say
that Mac has a problem, he should sort himself out,
or the band should do something, and isn't it funny
that he seems to be having a protracted nervous breakdown
in public.

But hey let's assess the situation. We know, from various sources
that Mac has multiple personalities, and that he
also has obsessive compulsive disorder, so maybe before
everyone starts moaning about how much of a twat he can be,
we can all be like that ourselves at times, that maybe he's
got actual mental health problems, and does actually need real help,
and not the kind that some on here are suggesting, with their
rather hurtful and disparaging remarks of let's get the band in
a room and they can sort their differences out. If they wanted out,
they would've left by now.

And before anyone says I've got up on my Dancing Horses, I
know a bit about these things, having been to a child's psychiatrist
when I was younger, but I have found ways to cope and live
with my problems, and life is, at times, pretty amazing.

Agreed, I had really hoped after the Glasgow episode a lesson had been learned.
It appears however that it hasn't given the remarks from paying fans on their Facebook page.
It's just too sad that this is becoming a regular part of the show.
Too many incidents now for it to be excused or blamed on the bevvy.

Unfortunately you have to put it down to Mac being out of control and it is no laughing matter.
If you know you have issues and reach 52 years of age at some point you have to be accountable for the consequences of your actions and stop blaming everyone else.

I wish him only well and hope there is someone that he will actually listen to as he needs a good kick up the rear and a severe dry spell.

I'm not religious but 'There but for the grace of God go I'.

Hi. Fellow mentally ill person speaking...

However, what other sources do you have, apart from that interview with Mac, that he has MPD? I'm being a bit rhetorical, for that matter, I think it's his own personal business. Unless he does release his autobiography and gets to tell his account.

That being said, I'm sure Mac's life is 'pretty amazing' at times as well. He seems to me like a strong person, who may have made a few questionable choices, but I'm not sure if he's unhappy with himself, or if he's making his own personal choices while taking the risk of causing friction between himself and the band, or himself and the fans.
