It's soon ! I'm still afraid Mac's gonna ruin this when i read messages on this forum.
I convinced my best friend to come for her first EATB but i fear this won't be too convincing.

???

Were you there ?

It sounded very good, the Crocs part as very good, the HUH part was wonderful.
The encores were a mess, on another hand. Partly (mostly?) because of the tambourine/laser issue from the fuckers at the balcony.
Nothing Lasts forever is really a shame (he mixed it this time with a snippet from...The Fountain!), Dancing Horses is weak when played live, Killing Moon is on autopilot. Lips was fine.
BTW i could never catch a glimpse of the face of Ian in light. He remained in darkness from the 1st til the last second (to hide the beard ?).

Lips? He didn't play that yesterday, last song the cutter was well done.
I agree with you that the crocs part and HUH were good, but man.... The encore was terrible.
And why was he so mad towards his own musicians and techniciens?
Was he drunk?
I didn't understand the tambourine fuzz.... what went wrong?
I've never seen Ian like this before....

if the croc/huh was "good" and last song of the encore was "well done" how you you say mac "fucked it up" if some twat is shining a lazer at him he would be a bit fucked off.
the whole tour is about hearing live crocs/huh two truly wonderfull albums!

Well, i think that Ian could show a little more respect towards his musiciens, his technicians and his audience. He isn't a fucking gallagher, is he?

A few crazy people in the audience isn't an excuse to let it all out during the encore.
But you're right most of the concert was good. Just a pity he was in such a bad mood.

Thet first played the entire Crocodiles, then took a 5 min break and started the HUH-album. The sound was good, although there was no wall of sound. Mac's voice was better than the last times I saw them. Ian was in a good mood ans mumbled some lines between the songs.
Than there was an incident with someone in the balcony and that pissed Ian off. Too bad.

after playing All my coulors, Ian sayd they wouldn't finnish the album but instead play some hits. They went off and after a short break came back to do the encores.
First ther was Bring on the dancing horses, then he announced not the best but the second best and sexiest song: Nothing last forever. On this part, he blew up the good atmosphere. He started Pro Patria Mori, made a fuzz with the band because he wanted to do it a capella, then twisted with the crowd because they weren't sillent enough, went on to The Fountain, asked the band why they didn't played along, then after they played along he wanted them to stop again but then he wanted the guitarplayer to join him, he went over to NLF again and finnished it with Coney Island (footballcoach). It all sounded very lame and not rehersalled.
Then there was Killing Moon and they finnished the evening with The Cutter.

All by all I find it one of the better gigs of the past years with two minor points:
* not playing No Dark Things, Turquoise Days and All I Want (the hit-jukebox I heard for a dozen times now);
* The bad mood Ian was in at the last part of the show

I would rate this one 7/10.
