Peter Murphy on tour

We know there is more to life than the music of the Bunnymen. Talk about those other bands here.

Peter Murphy on tour

Postby girlwithnoname » Wed Nov 30, 2011 1:23 pm

This upcoming Sunday, Peter Murphy will be playing in SF, and I was wondering if any of you have seen him on this current tour? I'm wondering if it's worth going to.

Didn't you say he was using a cummerbund to hold in his stomach?
With the Force as his ally he did battle with the Dark Lord. And he showed the measure of a true Jedi at a place called "The Death Star" where hope for the Galaxy was reborn. May all who struggle against tyranny hold his memory in their hearts

You don't get that kind of insight in the NME.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

I got the goods.

It is that kind of effort that made the show all the more impressive.

$41.50 a ticket, which includes the $12 TicketBastard fee.

Still worth it, hip? Whatever happened to $20 tickets????

Um, I don't know. No?

I saw him in a small venue for a lot less and you could actually rub the cummerbund.

I don't know - with Murphy on the cover of all the magazines, filling blog space and jamming itunes with massive download demand, you are really taking a chance.

I saw him this past summer in Dallas and it was awesome. He made comments about needing to lose weight, but I thought he looked fine. Feather boa and all.

Everybody looks better in a feather boa.
