Saw them again in Oxford 2010

and london 2011.

Considering leamington spa 2012.

In 1978 it was Van Halen, Runnng with the Devil. And Copacabana by Barry Manilow. I was young and foolish, a virgin when it came to live shows. My first time with Will and Ian in the flesh was 2009.

Same here. It was at a college auditorium and Ian was asking where all the sorority houses were. A friend of mine who was a big Pete fan got to help set up his drums and talk to him which was a big thrill for him.

For me the first time was at the Drums over the Mersey event in January 1985 at the Royal Court in Liverpool and they were excellent. Saw them again at the same venue in December 85 and they were crap. Not seen them play live since.

There tends to be a recurring theme of cold Bunnymen gigs in Glasgow.

Sefton Park was my first bunnymen gig.

Great memories of the Drums Over The Mersey gig as well - 36 hours of bands and non-stop drumming!! Pete playing bongos for a while, me & my mate waking up in the bar next to Madness, some amazing jamming by various guitarists & drummers in between scheduled bands, and all in what was my favourite venue - Royal Court.

In the early 80's The Bunnymen had a habit of doing UK tours in December..... :frown:
