Probably any of the Bunnymen's best work since Curvature of The Earth.

an early pic from the brainwash exhibition in L.A. the column of will is on the left, hosting the flat screen. just to the right of the projection. shame it wasn't taken a bit closer...

'withahip' is right on with his comment. pretty f'ing cool to do while just coming out of the starting gates with the art project. this rocks as much as the bunnymen do collectively.

Live streaming of the exhibit opening here:

It IS Ustream, so it's interrupted by ads from time to time.

Hmm... Random people standing in a hallway. There was a jolly big man standing in the middle of the hallway at one point, probably as exciting it got. There's a bloke with a pony tail. It's 2011 man. I see David Tennant has arrived, or maybe it's not him. Looks like him. Why is nobody standing at a distance, hand rested underneath chin, glancing up and down at the pictures and talking about perspective. Where's Will?

I started watching right when it started, and Will was there, mingling. Since only one stationary camera is broadcasting, seeing it for a few minutes is sufficient.

Excellent exhibition in the lovely new Penny Lane Gallery. Went to buy a couple of prints and came home having bought the two originals  (hoping there will be some overtime available in the next couple of months!).

Will has certainly been busy, they'd make some superb album covers. I especially liked the screenprints of his father and also the moth series but I'd always had my eye on a couple of the acrylics he had on his website.

Didn't speak to Will, he must have been pleased (and a little nervous I'm sure) at the great turnout. A bearded Paul Simpson was also in attendance (everyone seems to be sporting them this winter, we must be in for a repeat of last year's Arctic conditions).

Well worth the 160 mile round trip. Might pop in for another look in the next few weeks. Check out the website as there were quite a few different prints for sale which haven't been on Will's site so far. Hopefully the exhibition and the gallery will be a great success. Last night was a wonderful start. Thank you to all involved.
Purveyor of the 'semi-predictable one-liner (which) embodies the essence of the type of comedic crap we grew to love here. VB is a crazy fool'

which acrylics did you buy, VB?

check out this interview with will where he takes us around the world and back on his thoughts of art and music. what a fascinating read.

ghostie, there were people standing in the hallway looking at paintings.....because it was a real art exhibition. they weren't on location at a sci-fi film shoot. having said that, it may have been more interesting had he painted some girls with the james bond gold paint or a neon psychedelic print and had them walking around handing out the canapés. maybe at a future exhibition.......

fat cherry, the sleep video could be considered performance art or "anti-film." andy warhol did a similar thing in the early 60's.
